Mike Bessenyey

Mike is a seasoned real estate management professional with extensive experience across Washington State, as well as California and Texas. Before joining Bonavista Real Estate Management, Mike founded and operated his own real estate management firm in Seattle. Prior to that, he spent eight years with a private real estate group in Seattle, where he led the company’s operations through the 2008 financial crisis overseeing both property and asset management functions.

Over the course of his career, Mike has managed virtually every type of real estate asset, with specialized expertise in multifamily housing. His leadership has consistently delivered strong operational and financial performance building long-term asset value.

At Bonavista, Mike and the senior management team manage the employee’s and portfolio of properties. His responsibilities include direct management and development of Bonavista’s Sr. Management Team, strategic company direction and planning, consulting on real estate development projects, and direct collaboration with clients to ensure operational excellence and growth.

Mike’s broad experience across all levels of real estate management—from on-the-ground operations to executive leadership—enables him to make informed, timely decisions that drive asset performance.
